HI all, I hope someone can help me with this problem.

I have configured a backup in XP (NTBackup) and set a schedule for it to run every day.

The problem I have is in the schedule window, the AM/PM is not displayed. I set the time then arrow across to where the am/pm selection should be and all that is displayed is a verticle blue squiggley line. I can use the up/down arrow key to toggle between am/pm but the backup will only run for a few days then stop altogether. I have to manually execute the routine.

If I could set the schedule to a 24 hour clock I guess that would work but I don't think that is an option?

Thanks for any suggestions.

To set your machine clock to 24 hours.

Control Panel/ Regional And Language Options/ Customize /Time
Customize Regional Options so time of hour is represented by capital "H" rather than small "h".

To check for problems why the Backup schedule is failing.

Look at the Schedule Task log in the Windows folder, it is called SchedLgU.txt.

As to blue squiggly lines ???????

Run the System File Checker program from the Run Box by typing.....Sfc /Scannow in it and have your XP CD handy.

Try the recently amended scripten.exe
