Hello

For a long time now I've been able to shadow users on each of my 4 citrix xp servers from my own PC running xp.

The other day I was experimenting with publishing the Shadow Taskbar to myself and I've seems to really screw things up. Whe I open the CMC on my local PC, I'm unable to shadow users anymore. I right click their name and the shadow option is greyed out..

I've uninstalled and reinstalled both my program neigborhood and my managment consolse as well as installing the agent.. It still won't work.

Any ideas how I can get the shadow capability back?

What version, feature release and sp level are you using for Citrix?
I had this problem before when I created "policies" within CMC. The shadow feature was grayed out and I couldn't shadow any user (and I was an admin on every Citrix server).

I had to delete the policy and create a new one.
After going through each option carefully, I found the perfect mix.

Hope that helps.

On my PC I'm using Win XP with SP1 and FR2 MetaFrameXP 1.0

I don't have any policies setup... This just started after I installed the agent for testing.. I unistalled it already but it's still not letting me shadow.

when I installed MF, it installed a default policies group. inside there you should find a checkbox which can enable/disable shadowing
