I am running windows 2000 pro., and using Outlook Express as my mailer
I need to export mail messages to another user on the same machine.

When i try to export my mail messages i get an error indicatiing i must set outlook express as the default emailer.
BUT i get an mapi error.

When i go to Tools, Options, General and click this option it seems to work, but...still the above error when i try to export,.

Is there a way of forcing Outlook Express in any other way. ie
registry etc.
I need to export the mail messages urgently

Appreciate any help

Open Internet Explorer and check: Tools, Internet Options, Programs tab, email.

smah,
thanks for your tip, have tried this, and it does not seem to work.
I have fiddled some more, and i now seem to be able to export email messages from one logon user, but, not from any other, in particular the one i need to export from.

Please explain: "have tried this, and it does not seem to work" What exactly happens? Are there any error messages?
