unable to send emails from a mobile device

for some reason I am unable to send an email using my motorola q. I can recieve fine. I am currently using verizon's pc monitor software. It's been working fine. I don't know what could have change. Now another user is complaning they are unable to send from a black berry device.

any advice. sorry if this is in the wrong forum.
