I used to use Freeserve as my ISP and all mail was routed through them. I have just obtained DSL through ntl and have set uo a small network using a US Robotics Broadband Router.

Ever since then, I can receive emails fine, but am totally unable to send at all.

I have heard that I may be unable to use Freeserves smtp without logging on to their server. Is there a way around this problem or will I have to change all my email settings?

Thanks Chris

Change you out going SMTP server to that of the DSL provider. You have to use the outgoing SMTP server for whom ever is your provider and it won't affect your mail account any. joegz
