Our network has Windows NT 4.0 servers. The workstations run Windows 98, 2000 and XP. We configure all of our workstations to run auto update and auto upgrade from a central location on a server. The configuration is exactly the same for all of the workstations. The Windows 98 workstations can run both the auto update and auto upgrade successfully. However, the Windows 2000 and XP workstations can only run auto update but cannot run auto upgrade. Please see attached error message.

Error Message:
Auto Upgrade was unable to upgrade your system to the latest version . Verify your configuration or check the activity log for more information

Unable to connect to the specify path.

We leave the log on field blank for the auto update and upgrade. McAfee suggested to use a domain user account log on instead of leave it blank, which (according to McAfee tech) uses the service account by default. So, the question is: Both tasks access the files from the same folder, why does it work only for the auto update, then, without specifying any log on account? Another problem we've encountered is that all of our user account names have two words, and McAfee doesn't like to have the space in the log on account. Please help! Please forgive us if the message is too confusing. Thanks very much in advance.
