I am a CorelDraw user and is trying to switch to the freehand interface. I found it some what difficult to adapt to freehand. I have read a book on how to use freehand and the only way to remove a point on a path is by using the pen tool and retract a point and deleting it. I have tried it a few times and it always ruins my overall image. Whereas when i am doing it in coreldraw, i can right click on and point and delete it with out affecting too much of the overall progortion of the path. Does anyone know a way where i can remove a point without going through all the fuzz? your help is appriciated.

Hmm.. you should be able to put the pen tool over the point and it should have a "-" sign over it, which means that clicking will delete the point.

How is it ruining your image, exactly?

You know in corel draw, you get to right click and delete a point and it leaves a pretty similar shape?
but in freehand...the shape just deflates... without the point... the line just sinks down to the two remaining connecting points...

If you have too many points on the path you can try the Cleanup -> Simplify filter. Otherwise, this Corel Draw feature has no parallel in FH.
