Particular extension on BD1 port 1 is unable to receive calls, they go straight to Voicemail. It IS able to make outgoing calls.

Actions taken thus far:
1. Ensure DND is not on via button programming and short code
2. made sure user is logged in as correct ext.
3. recreated user from scratch
4. used system monitor and traced call going to this extension and it shows as unreachable
5. Upgraded from 7.0.23 to 7.0.36
6. when voicemail is turned off the call gets rejected.
7. coverage delay is set to default values
8. no conflicting short codes or hunt groups

At this point im ready to replace card or phone. any ideas?

thanks !!

Did you try another phone in that port and that phone in another port? What does the problem follow? :)

9. physically swapped with another phone
10. logged in as different user.
Still nothing
Yes, just finished doing steps 9 and 10

So did the fault stay with the port or with the phone?

The port, just switched with a different extension (in ext not user) with the ext that was for the Server room, scheduled a reboot. Will know if this fixes the problem within 3 hours
Thanks for the input thus far

Woops, just realized the redundancy of what i did hahaha, been a long day. Going to have client physically switch the two extensions at the IP Office directly. after reboot takes place.

Pay attention to the error messages - some may be trivial, but others will prevent problems like this.

I have seen odd issues when extension numbers where changed and needed a reboot to get fixed.
Normally you need to logout and login to get this done.

So was there a number changed on the extension?
What do you see in system status for this extension?

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!
