Unable to prepare message table for polling thread processing

This weekend we ran ISINTEG on our exchange server. Since then we have multiple MSExchangeFBPublish errors in the event log with the following information:

"Unable to prepare message table for polling thread processing on virtual machine [server]. The error number is 0x80004005. Make sure Microsoft Exchange Store is running."

Yes the public and private stores appear to be working fine. What is causing this error?
