Unable to modify some jobs

I have ARCserve v9 on a Win2k server. Whenever I try to modify some of the backup jobs, the program closes. I have tried deleting the job and importing it from a backup *.asx file but its still the same. Other backup jobs work fine. what gives?

Also recently the Activity and Job logs do not appear. I have tried to rename BrightStor.log and restarting ARCserve services, but the log appers only for a moment(it disappears when I refresh).

Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks. :-D
 
If the manager is suddently closing them it is crashing. Make sure you have the latest patches (cumulative update 5) applied. If the problem persists sou should contact CA support or recreate the jobs from scratch.

Thanks for your reply. I have updated it with the latest patch but its still the same.

I did manage to modify the jobs after installing and using the manager from the remote PC.

But i still don't see any logs generated...
