Unable to Modify Job Arcserve 2000 workgroup

Currently running Arcserve 2k workgroup edition ver 7.0 build 1018. I am having a problem modifying a job in the pre post tab. I am trying to change the path in the run command before the job and the run command after the job. I am unable to change it keeps reverting back to original file path. Any suggestions.

Hi,

On the Job status screen, highlight the job you want to modify, make the necessary modifications.
When you submit the Job, there is an option to "save" the job.
Save it to an .asx file and submit it.

Patch up to SP5 and try again - you are running AS2000 completely unpatched:

A lot of mod job problems were addressed in the service packs.

Thanks for all of your insight to our problem, we were able to get the path to change.

vschumpy--We did the patch and brings our build to 1110, and this seems to have taken care of the encryption backup problem from my previous post. Thanks again for giving us the heads up on that patch information it helped us greatly. Thanks.!!!
