I am trying to create an off-site disaster recovery system and have accomplished the following.

I added a new BDC to my network and sync it to the network.

I remove it from my network

Promoted it to PDC

Added WINS

(I also added exchange 5.5)

At this point I remove my backup server(An nt4.0 workstation with CA Arcserve on it) and put it on my Disaster recovery network but when I tried to logon to the system, I get the following error

"The system cannot log you on to this domain because the system's computer account in its Prmary Domain is missing or the password on that account is incorrect"

How can I get this system to validate on the Disaster Recovery network?

Thanks

Try putting the workstation into a workgroup (ensure you do know the local administrator account details of the workstation) and then re-join the domain. This will reset the account details of the Workstation in the new domain.
