I have a win2k server (the only server in a small network and is the DC). Recently I enabled the active desktop. I found however that if I log out and then try to log in again later, the screen just goes blank and hangs there forever. The server can be accessed from other client workstations however. I have looked at the event log which does not show any anamoly. I have no clue as to what is happening. A restart of the system, allows me to log once. A subsequesnt logout and login again exhibits the same problem. Can anybody kindly suggest as to how I can go about solving this except turning the active desktop off. Thanks
