Hi,
I get an error "unable to launch
C:\ProgramFiles\Macromedia\DreamweaverUltraDev\Fireworks4\Fireworks4.exe
Be sure this program exists and there is enough memory to run it"

I have 256 mb of memory.
The fireworks file is not in the dreamweaver folder on my machine. It is inside the Macromedia folder, but not in the dreamweaver folder.

I tried to go to Edit>Preferences>filetype/editors
and find the external code editor through the browse
button, but it still gives me the error.

I am running windows ME.
Any advice? Thanks I'd gladly pay you on Thursday
for a hamburger today!

This has to do with the order the programs were installed. My guess is you installed DW first, then FW. Reverse the order of your install and then DW should recognize FW.
