Unable to label tape with message...

Server S1: Tape label read for volume?, in Pool?, is not recognized by NetWorker: A tape access reached a file mark."

I had no problem labeling used LTO-1 tapes and using them, until this morning. I had tried numerous tapes and stil getting the above message. Thanks in advance to those reply to this message.

Probably the media has been previously written with a higher density which cannot be recognized.

Insert/load the media and run tapeexer to verify whether it can r/w at all.
