I have an NT machine that is unable to install networked printers as it is stating that access is denied to install the drivers locally. The only thing I can see that is not running is the Protected Storage service. This cannot be started as it is stating a file is missing. What file is it searching for and how would this service effect print drivers? Any help much appreciated.

Doesn't it say which file is missing whan you try starting it?
Does event viewer have any clues about the missing file?
(XP - but...)
Are you logged on with local Adminstrator access when trying to set up printers?
