Unable to force system to set B number in From field after forwarding

Hi guys,

I have a problem with call forward scenario on SIP trunk.
A - any
B - SIP HiPath4K
C - any

After forwarding call from A, system sends an INVITE with A's number in From field. How to force the system to set B's number in From field in that INVITE?

What information do you need to debug the problem?

Not being rude, just having a memory flash that I think I remember someone asking almost a similar question to this sometime back - maybe as much as 6 months back. I cannot remember if it ever got answered, but I remember it being about SIP and someone wanting to change the calling party info.

You might be able to find it if you search or scroll back thru the last few pages of threads :eek:)
 
Sounds normal to me. The invite is used to request a connection. You cannot change the data in the invite, or else the call will not complete. The called party and calling party info is typically sent via setup messages.

What exactly is the problem?

I was looking, really. But nothing fits to my problem.

@All,

Scenario looks like below:

System used: HP4K V5
A - any (CUCM endpoint, PSTN, OXE)
B - Siemens endpoint, CFU configured (doesn't matter if it is SIP endpoint, HFA or Analog)
C - any

A calls (doesn't matter it the call comes via SIP trunk or PRI) B - INVITE (From: A's number, To: B's number)
B forwards the call over SIP trunk to C - INVITE (From: A's number, To: C's number)
Call is rejected 403 Forbidden because of wrong From in 2nd INVITE. Platform expects it will be B's number in the From field.
And it's not wrong behaviour. We have no problems with OXE or CUCM.

So my question how to force H4K to set From and To fields in 2nd INVITE properly according to our requirements?
