Unable to do an Out of Office

Hi guys

I'm using office 2000. When I try and do a Tools > Out of office assistance nothing happens. Ive tried running detect and repair. and reconfiguring my mailbox profile. Any idea's

First question, do you use Exchange Server?

Yes I use exchange 5.5. The out of office feature used to work before. Nothing has on my workstation, it's just stopped working.
 
Any Service Packs recently installed, patches ...?
As well on the Exch Server as on the PC(s)?

Besides that, you should NEVER use Out-of-Office anyway, nor NDR or any other automatic replies to the internet.
That is exactly one of the mechanisms Spammers use to determine existing and non-existing addresses.

A service pack 4 was applied to and a hotfix to fix problems with the Information store. But it's only affecting me and not other users. Therefore I think it's a local pc or MS Office issue.
