Unable to dial into NT 4 Server from home via XP

I am unable to dial into the NT 4.0 Server at work with my Home PC running Windows XP Home edition. I can dial into the server from my Laptop with Windows 2000 Pro with out error.
My Home PC never gets through the modem. Has anyone run into this issue where the modem just hangs on dial-up?
The dial-up connection apppears to be configured the same as my laptop wthe the same IP address, Login Name (administrator) and password.
I have no problem connecting to the internet from the home PC or the Laptop.
