We have two public folders which were hosted on remote Exchange servers, one folder on each server and replicated to a central exchange server. The remote servers have been removed and no longer exist. The public folders however still appear on the central server. When an attempt is made to access them or delete them I get an error of "the client operation failed" on one of the folders and "the contents of this public folder are currently unavailable. Either the Microsoft Exchange server servicing this public folder is down or the folder has not been replicated to this site....." on the other folder. I need to remove these folders as they are causing BackupExec to report errors during the overnight backups. I have tried to delete the folders or access them but have so far failed. Any help would be gratfuly received.
