Unable to connect to new NAM

I have a new Cisco NAM installed in slot 2 of a Cat6000ios switch. I can ping it (127.0.0.21) and 'show module' indicates it's OK. When I try 'session slot 2 pro 1' I get:-

Trying 127.0.0.21 ...
% Connection timed out; remote host not responding

Three other new NAMs gave me a login prompt. I have managed to reset the card using Ciscoview but it's still the same. All I can do next is power cycle the switch unless anyone has any other suggestions. (but 17/04/04 is the next maintenance window). Do you think the NAM is faulty?
 
Perhaps have another 6500 chassis to put that NAM in??
