Hi,
can anybody help? I've just installed my application
on a client's server and am getting the following
error:
Unable to connect to DSN: DsnName
Error -2147168246, [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver]
Distributed Transaction Error
Basically, the set up is...
Windows 2000 Server (SP2) running SQL 7 - this is also running Active Directory. This holds the database.
Windows NT4 SP6a. Transaction Server. This has the Option Pack installed and is running the Component (VB6 dll).
Windows 98/NT/2000 Clients. Running exe and interface dll to MTS.
When we go to access the program I get the above error. I can see that my transaction is running (through the MMC console) and can see the active transaction count increase etc. I know that the package is running then, it just appears to have a problem finding the database. The DSN's are okay and test fine.
Any help on this subject greatly appreciated or if further info might help please shout
