Unable to connect to 2003 RRAS after making it a DC

Hi everyone,

I have a P4 1.6 with 2003 Enterprise server running as a RRAS server, i was able to connect to it fine.

I promoted it to a domain controller (DC) and now i am not able to connect to it over ADSL (broadband).
I am also using a dynamic DNS service.
When i try to connect to it, it is able to find the server then sits on checking username and password for a while then produces the following error:

"Error 721: The remote computer did not respond"

Another PC gets the error code "Error 628" at the same point.
I have opened the port number 1723 on the router and tried adding the computer to the RAS group but still the same problem, I am also able to Terminal server to the server ok.

i think there is some layer of security stopping me since i promoted it to a DC.

Please help me.....??

Assuming it worked before and you didn't change any on the router, I would check the VPN server settings such as NAT.

How do i check the settings of the NAT in 2003 server and what in the NAT could be stopping me from VPN into the server?
