Hi,
I have a dialup connection with windows xp. It connects and establishes a connection, but I am unable to browse websites or ping them. I have gone through the modem settings and dialup connection settings and they are all correct. This connection was working at one time but then it stopped. I have uninstalled the modem and reinstalled it back. Same situation. When it is connected the 2 computers are in the task bar with a connection speed. When I open IE it cannot open any websites. I open a command prompt and it cannot ping any sites. It is unable to find them.
I am wondering if it is a corrupt file somewhere or corrupt registry settings.

thanks

Jeremy
