I have a worgroup of 5 users using Windows 2000 Professional. One of the computers in my workgroup has a printer that is shared to the rest of the workgroup. At first, everything was doing fine. But the next day I had a problem with all the computers. They cannot print anymore. When I checked out their printers folder and select the printer, it says there "Access denied, unable to connect". What I usually do is to remove the printer and reinstall it. I've also set up all the users to the computer hosting the printer under one group, but im still having the same problem.

I hope someone out there can help me out. Pleeeasee!!!!

The win2000 sharing files and/or printer must have users created with the same name/password as you use on the computers trying to connect. Security features.

Right click on My Computer, select MANAGE, then USERS AND GROUPS, and add your users in there (check the "password never expire").

Thank you for your reply Luc! I have done that already, I've added all the users in the host computer of the printer. Their names there are the same as what they use to log on locally to their own computer. But the password is different. Still, I'm having the same problem when they open their PC the next day.
