ugprading to sp2

I have a quick question -

We have an environment where the sql databases for reporting services are on a separate backend server. Am I correct in believing that this would be a 2 part upgrade? Upgrade the database to sp2 then upgrade the front end reporting services server? Anyone run into any issues with this? Our database group is separate from the windows team and the dba's support the database while the windows engineers support the reporting services front end server.....

We have SQL db and RS in the same server. So the sql 2005 sp2 patch was easy. In your case update the db first then update RS.
