UGH! "Attendant Service Not Available" on AA setup

I just posted a thread yesterday about getting a dial by name and dial by extension automated attendant setup working.

Well, I figured that out BUT the LAST piece of the puzzle is stumping me.

When a caller calls in and chooses and extension or name (doesnt matter) Audix will transfer the call to the right extension, but will not cover to voicemail. If i put a test phone on Send all calls and use the AA to call it i get "attendant service not available. try again later. please disconnect".

No matter what extension I try to call through the audix automated attendant, it will not cover to the audix voicemail and i get that message. It almost sounds like a permission issue - but where?

You need to make the greeting ACTIVE. Go back into the AA and make Greeting number 1 active.

Thanks for the reply. Man I need a vacation. In the mess of all this setup I forgot to do that...even though I had done it before, I had recorded a different greeting since that time and forgot to activate it.

If there any way to have audix ringback while it's ringing the extension? All the caller hears is "please wait..." and its silent while their phone is ringing until reaching their voicemailbox.
