We currently use 00 to dial the operator. I am one of several PBX's in a network. We can now use 0 in our dial plan but I can't seem to change it (can't get rid of second didgit table ect)....or it keeps pointing me to the UDP to initiate the changes. Is there a simple "how to" out there somewhere on changing the udp. I do not have literature which covers it in enough depth. Thank you in advance

You need to get rid of everything that uses the dialstring you are trying to modify. i.e. you need to make the attd something other than 0 or 00, then remove the sec digit table. Change 0 from misc to attd in the dialplan and then make the attd 0.

The only thing that uses the dialstring is 00. When I remove it and attempt to remove the second didgit table for 0 it says "First Didgits Assigned In UDP". In the Udp I am not sure what to modify.

After removing the existing 00. Do a "change udp 0". You will either have "local" or some udp 1-3 digit code listed as the type. Clear that field by pressing the space bar and enter it. Then try to remove the second digit table.

cleared the udp code but am still getting the same message....First didgits assidned in udp.

Do a "list UPD" to see if any more entries are still in UDP for 0.

Thanks
Chris
