UCM System status alarm

IPO 8.1.67 Vm pro/UC Module 8.1.9102.

Customer had UC module lock up and went into write protect mode.
System status under Service Alarm has error. UC module disk usage exceeds 90% of capacity.

I applied patch per tech tip 258. That took care or write protect issue. And vm is working.A

However, the alarm in system stud will not clear. We deleted all vm from system and alarm still there. Anyone else see this and have fix?

Did you load the patch before or after the UC module locked?

You can only use the patch unless the problem (locking) didn't occur. Otherwise you have to replace the module..

UC locked up then patch applied. This fixed the write protect issue and UCM is working.
Alarm won't clear from system status

What is the alarm?

Does it show RED? That means it is still active, and you might have to do some more digging.

Once again, if the problem occured, you MUST replace the unit..

Seet techt ip 258...

If your UCM is installed and is currently experiencing this issue the UCM must be
replaced.

Indeed, it was a preventative patch.... not a fix/cure

I have seen alarms only disappear after a reboot of the ipo.
