UC110 module shutdown.

I know this is probably a dumb question but when you save changes in the manager that require a reboot and you select immediately, will the system be smart enough to shut the 110 module down properly?

Rebooting the IPO doesn't reboot the UC module. The connection between the IPO and OXP goes down, but the module itself stays running.
