2 pt. is so horsey, 1 is so tiny! I see web sites with HTML type that is somewhere in the middle and I can't figure out how they do it! Any info?

Thanks, Monica

use css and in block specify the space between letters
windows>css

whos that behind you?

deecee - I haven't used css yet. Any pointers on learning more? That's the round-a-bout way of saying I didn't understand your answer. Can I get some more detail?

Thanks

go to windows>css and make a new style for that document only and name it whatever you want ie letterspace

then a box opens up and on the left you see a menu item that says block...go there and you can specify how you want your text and what not to look like regarding line spacing and letter spacing

once you are done with that you simply need to apply the style to a cell or table or whatever you want to look like that ie in your code it would look like this

<td widht=&quot;xxx&quot; height=&quot;XXX&quot; valign=&quot;middle&quot; align=&quot;default&quot; class=&quot;letterspace&quot;>

this would make all text in this table cell look the way you specified it.

deecee, I was refering to the size of the type not the spacing. I've seen the size look like it was between 2pt. and 1pt. on other web sites.

Thanks

then you would do the same as i explained except you would go to the font instead of block selection and specify pt. size
