.txt files?????

Does anybody know how to import .txt files into a database via a Visual Basic app? I sure would like
to know. Also, I cannot seem to copy and paste anything from a flexgrid. I need to copy rows from
a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet, and paste them on a grid. Is it possible or not? TIA for your quick
responses.

record a macro in EXCEL opening the text file and it will prompt you to delimit (parse) it.....instant VBA code.

as far a flexgrids I have zero clue......in relation to EXCEL and VBA what's a flexgrid=exposing my newbieness
