Dumb question, perhaps, but I am getting really confussed here.
When I log on to my Windows 2000 Server, as the Admin user and then run the winver from the command prompt, I get the info that says it is Windows 2000 patch 5.00.2195 Service Pack 4
Similarly if I right click on the My Computer icon and check the Properties it shows the same as above.
BUT, if I do My Computer -> manage -> then right click on the Computer Management -> Properties; I get:
System: Microsoft Windows 2000 Server 5.0.2195
Is this normal, or have I missed something when setting up the server?
This leads me to the second question, if I do updates, patch, how do I ensure that it is patching the server or both?
