Two SQL Server instances on the same server?

I have already installed SQL Server 7 on my NT Server machine. The SQL Server was configured to fit into my application's requirements.

Now I have another totally different appication to be run on SQL Server 7 on the same NT server. It requires a different configuration (page size, character code, case comparison, etc.). It is also of my best interest to keep them running separately.

Can I have two SQL Server installations on the same server? If yes, anything I need to pay close attention to?

Thanks.

You can only have one instance of SQL 7 on a Server. You can run multiple instances of SQL 2000 Enterprise Edition on a Server. Terry L. Broadbent
