After packaging my app for distribution, I ran it on my enduser's computer.
Question #1
Although I set the "Add/Remove Program" icon with an icon that I already have in the project, the actual "Add/Remove Program" icon itself is not the icon I chose, but rather that of a folder(!). Any ideas why that would happen and how to have it show my real icon?
Question #2
Since I have no help or readMe.txt files, the Release folder contains 3 files: a Windows Installation Package file (the largest in the folder), an .INI file, and a Setup.exe file. I only sent my enduser the Windows Installation Package file - and the installation worked just fine. (Except for the issue mentioned in Question #1, above. But I really don't think these two issues are related - being that all of my other icons and shortcuts worked just fine.) What are the other two files for and when are they actually needed to give to the enduser?
Thanks so much,
