Two people answering call from hunt group??

Hunt group is set to randomly ring phones specified. I am seeing an issue.

example: it rang once at one person's desk, but when they picked it up, they got a dial tone. Then they noticed that their second line had a call on hold, so they picked it up and it was the 800# call, but it had simultaneously bounced to line. They ended up with two mortgage bankers on the same call. They said it has been happening regularly, and it's getting awkward.

how long are their extensions ringing for before they answer it?

are they in any pickup groups etc that could affect this?

try settings the extensions to auto answer see if the problem remains
