Hi all,
i'm configuring DNS/DHCP/VPN on windows server 2k3.

I've a little problem, this 3 services are on the same pc,
this pc has only one network card, when i start the server the DNS register the server name in its table (Name: NewFreddie - Host(A) - 192.168.16.5)

And i've no problem....
but when i will connect to the server with a VPN client, the server will create a vitual network card, for VPN access, this NIC will be registered on the DNS (Name: NewFreddie - Host(A) - 192.168.16.200)

In this way i've two entry in the DNS server, so when i ping the server name from a client, the DNS server use both the first entry and the second one.

Is i possible to disable the registration on DNS server for the virtual network card created by the VPN?
On any other way to disable the resolution of the name server with the VPN virtual card address?

Thanks so much,
BR

Claudio.
