I have a Win XP Pro machine with 2 network cards in - I wish to only use one connection at a time depending on the user logged on at the time.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

You might be able to use the hardware profiles for this. In one profile NIC #A is disabled, NIC #B enabled; the second profile would be the reverse.

You would have to reboot, I believe, between user changes to be prompted for the profile.

xp will recognise your network connection regardless of user you log onto,so unless you are networking or sharing your internet connection you dont need to use two NIC'S.
hope this makes sense.
