Hi, looking at taking ISA server off a DC and installing on its own small server with a couple of other smaller applications. Can I install it on the second server and put it on the domain at the same time? Then remove the one on the original server?

Thanks John

I don't believe that will be a problem. We did it when we replaced our ISA Server. One word of caution, we have never had any luck removing ISA 2000 from a server. We have had to reformat the server. It appears to make many changes and the removal process does not seem to get all of the spots. So I would plan to reformat my old ISA Server after the new one is up and running.

Thank you, I didnt think that would be an issue because its not AD integrated. I will keep the formatting of it in mind.

Thanks John
