Two handsets for one phone?

Hey again everyone.

I was wondering if there was an adapter or splitter I can buy to have two handsets connected to one phone. Right now we use CN Netcom wireless handsets attached to our T7316 phones. What I'd like to do, is split the line going to the wireless handset, so that it goes to two handsets. Only one would control the lifter, but both would be able to hear the call.

The reason for this is that we are starting to hire a lot of new trainees and we'd like to have a trainer shadow them at their station (but we need the wireless as the job requires to go to credit card terminals and other info we have localized in the office). is this possible? Do I just need a simple splitter 1 to 2 splitter that is made for the smaller head that the phones use (is it still considered an RJ-11?)?

Thanks in advance.

A simple 1 to 2 splitter will work fine. The handset is analog

Thanks JcBWF, I was thinking that was the case, but wanted to double check before purchasing.

If you want to you can just take the handset cord and daisy chain it to 2 jacks and then plug in your hand\headsets to test

I know plantronics makes headset splitters- Y cable assemblies- for just that purpose, if you don't find them on hawks' link.
