I have approx 5 machines that will grab 2 DHCP addresses from the server. One is the standard address and the other has the RAS/dial-up icon next to it. We have no dial-up to the network and no RAS servers configured. Any ideas as to why this is? We are running a windows 2000 server as the DHCP server.

Post an 'ipconfig /all' output from one of the 5 machines for analysis.

I think the rras service is running on the client machines and may be grabbibg ips because of this. Unfortunately I needed IP's right away so I just deleted the second IP leases and have not seen it again yet. Once I see the problem again I will goto the machines and check this.
