Does anyone know how where to get twisted telephone cable. These are sometimes used by Digital S0 sets. I've heard that these cables will reduce problems with the sets.

Can someone tell me is this is true or not and if it's true how do I get my hands on these cables

Hi Sophoboy
As far as I know there are no special cables used to connect Sophosets/Ergolines to your PBX.I normally use CAT3 or CAT5 cable and never experience any problems.
One thing you would have to take into consideration is distance between PBX and Digital set - Should not exceed 180m.
If your digital handset is a 4-wire terminal and you are concerned with the distance to the PBX,connect a 100-ohm resistor between both pairs(Tx&Rx)in the wall socket to balance the pairs.

Hope this helps in the problems you are having.

Regards
Matt
