Customer has ip406 running 4.2(23). When twinning is turned on the the call gets sent out but when the caller tries to answer the call is dropped on the cell phone side and the caller is sent to the twinner's voice mail box. The 406 and 30 port digital have been replaced. Anyone know of a bug with 4.2(23) and twinning? Bad PRI card maybe? <-(unlikely).
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Trying to avoid a 5.0 upgrade because of IMS <--- P.I.T.A.

Check your "Mobile Answer Guard" on the User with Mobile Twin.

The mobile answer guard is "0 seconds" for all users

More likely that after the user's Mobile Dial Delay plus the twinned call setup time, just as the mobile starts ringing the users No Answer Time has been reached and the IP Office pulls it back for voicemail.

I'd increase the user's No Answer Time by 5 seconds just to see what effect that has. That way you resolve whether its just a timing issue rather than anything deeper like line settings or a bug.

The no answer timeout for each user is 30 seconds. The call actually gets answered by the cell then dropped. Funny thing is sometimes the call goes thru and sometimes it gets cut off and sent to voicemail.

IMO, this is a bug with your IPO release. The IP Office is not interpreting a message from your wireless provider stating the call is answered. Having been worked over by wireless carriers and Twinning, this sounds familiar.
Try disabling Twinning and activate "Forward Unconditional" and see if the same thing happens.

It does appear to be a bug. Some of the ports on the 30 port digital twin and other's dont. Even after the replacement the same ports do not twin. I just moved the non working users to working ports as a temporary fix.

Why not upgrade to 5.0 ?
IMS is stil supported but you need to do an upgrade of VMPro and not a fresh install where it is not there anymore.

ACS IP Office or is it ACSS :-)
