Twinning in Avaya IP Office 2

hi all

Can anyone know why the Twinning is not working in my system? Is there anything that needs to be configured? Are there any steps that I need to take in the IP office?

Have you set the relevant numbers in User - Forwarding?

What kind of CO lines do you have? You need PRI or SIP. Analog do not work.

I need to be working on internal calls, between extensions on the same server

Use the internal twinning not the mobile twinning if it's just to another internal extension

Use internal Twinning. Mobile Twinning do you use only for your Smartmphone

Internal twinning will however make 1 extension number unusable and you can only call 1 of the 2 extensions.
External twinning should work fine even if you enter an extension number.
I always add the "twinned when logged out" to the twinning and "Mobile call control" but if your extension that has twinning enabled is called and it is not ringing on the extension 3700 that is set as twinning target then make sure it is logged in, not in DND or forwarded and that you can actually call that target extension number.
If all that is set and it still doesn't work then logs are the only way to find out why this is not working as designed.
