I have a video card with S-video connected to my Sony tv with the S-video cable. I have video on the monitor but not TV. Is there some configuring?

Thanks Quiet brain or I'll stab you with a Q-tip

Go to your display properties in the control panel. Once you're there, you'll have to look through the different tabs (it varies by manufacturer) and you'll have to "turn on" the connection to the TV. It will problably have options to center the picture on the TV, control brightness, etc.

Ok, When I connected the cable I got nothing on the TV. Any channell?

thanks

Well, you probably have an "Aux" channel or an "S-video" channel. If that doesn't turn on any light bulbs, try channel 0; that'll sometimes work.

Like snoopy just said, you need to set the right channel on the TV. Aux, Video, and Video2 are common options. Look and see if your controller has them. If not, try hitting 00
