Hi!
I'm new to SQL Server 2000 but I'm familiar with databases in general and the relational model. I'm also familiar with SQL and have done a little work on Oracle. I've worked with Access as well.
Does anyone know of a good website that serves as a good tutorial for SQL Server 2000? How about a book? There seem to be dozens of books out on the market but not many have reviews so that i'm having a tough time choosing among them.
Thanks,
Sashi

Check out these FAQs which point to SQL websites.

My current preferences for books include:

The Guru’s Guide to Transact-SQL by Ken Henderson
Inside SQL Server 2000 by Kalen Delaney
Professional SQL Server 2000 DTS (Data Transformation Services) by Mark Chaffin, Brian Knight & Todd Robinson

I don't know if these are the best books on the market but I have benefited from them.

I like the SQL Server Unleashed book but others apparently do not. One thing you might investigate is the on-line reviews of these books at sites like Amazon. Brian J. Alves
