Hello telnettech
Can you post these printouts here?:
VMPOP;
VMFUP;
ICFUP;
CNPIP:UNIT=MWP;
BLFDP; for the LIM, where the ICU board is installed.
Normally, if you can't light up MEW lamp, the problem will be the voice mail server or the serial cable.
The voice mail server gives a signal to the PBX, that a new message has arrived in the users voice mail box.
This signal was described earlier:
"STX 06 T SS CR LF"
Indicate that extension T has a message waiting for him/her in message system SS.
If you -in some way- can activate an updating function from the voice mail(VM)server and unplug the serial cable and plug in in to a PC running a terminal program (e.g. Hyperterminal from Windows)you should be able to see the signal: "STX 06 T SS CR LF" (this will be shown as 061234505, if the ext. number is 12345 and the system ID of the VM server is 05).
If this signal is seen OK from the VM server then the VM server and serial cable must be OK.
If the VM server does not have the update option, most VM servers do an automatic update when powered on.
So you could check if signals for turning on the MEW lamps are present after the power-up.
The MD110 we can dicuss after you have posted the printouts.
A hint could be to send this: ICFUC:MWF=ALL;
and of course to have programmed MEW lamp keys.
