Hi. I administer a Definity G3si switch on my job. Need to know how to turn off/disable Paging that is heard through ceiling speakers when announcements/pages are made from our receptionist. The company has 3 Floors. I need to turn off paging on one of those floors.

Would I be able to do this from the below command?
change paging loudspeaker

Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks,
Shawn.

You would have to have three inputs on the paging amplifier for this to work with three separate speaker zones. One for each floor. Then you would have three paging loadspeaker connections and access codes set up on your switch.

Your receptionist would then be able to page each floor separately or page all via the TAC or trunk access codes in the loadspeaker paging form.

This would be the only way.

If you permanently want the first floor shut off then look at the paging amp for the first floor input and unplug it.
