Hello.

The company I work for has had our phones on AA for the last few months. The main phone says "SERVICES ON" on it's readout.

I recently configured a CCR tree for our company, so we can handle our calls more efficiently. What I am confused about, is how to take the Automated Attendant off, and make the CCR tree's main menu as the default that callers hear when they call in.

First you need to go in to services and turn off the service that is runing. You will need to chech them all. Then in the VM check the lines that AA answers are on the correct ring count.
If you are not that up on programing to do this it mite be better to call a vendor to help.

I have just learned how to program the CCR tree from a few online tutorials that I have pieced together.

I guess I will call my local vendor.

what you already have running on your main phone is probably ring service, basically ring service changes the ring pattern so that the lines ring immediately to the auto attendent instead of following the ring delay that is programmed in at the AA>>Lines section. If your CCR tree is programmed correctly then you need to go into the AA programming and turn CCR on to the CCR tree that you programmed.

the usual setup that I have seen is

lines -- ring 4 times then AA picks up and plays the Greeting followed by the CCR 1 Path 0 prompt.

services -- main station and Voice mail DN are assigned to one ring group with main station as the control. by default all lines are assigned to ring group one. when feature 871 is selected on the main phone the AA immediately answeres ALL calls coming in when feature #871 is selected at the main phone the lines ring at the phones that are assigned/ring for them then after the assigned number of rings (in AA programming) the AA answers the call.

Hope this helps you a little if not say hi to the local vendor for me.
