My friends and I are wanting to do some VPN tunneling back and forth just to see how this works for our own experience. I bought the Linksys BEFVP41 (70 simultaneous tunnels), does my friend need a VPN router as well to tunnel for me to see his computer/network, or is it just 1 VPN router and his side VPN Client Software?

I want to be able to see his network as he wants to be able to see mine. I hope this is descriptive enough.

Any suggestions or answers are much appreciated!

Thanks

Yes, tell him to get the same model to make life easier.
he can use the built-in windows PPTP client to connect to you. But he has nothing for you to connect to.
There are also lots of free linux solutions.

Cool,
So he has to have a VPN router to connect to me as well, but if he has a VPN router as well, then I should be able to connect to him through a tunnel that he sets up through client software on my machine, correct?

Thanks for the assitance!

Thank you for your assistance with my question.
